Броими и неброими съществителни (Countable and uncountable nouns)
Съществителните в английския се делят на броими и неброими. Броимите можем да броим и имат множествено число (an apple, two apples). Неброимите нямат множествено число и не се използват с a/an (bread, milk, water, cheese). За да ги преброим, използваме думи за количество: a bottle of water, a slice of bread.
Какво да запомним
- Броими: a/an + единствено число, или множествено число: an egg, two eggs
- Неброими: без a/an и без -s: bread, milk, water, rice, cheese
- a/an: an пред гласен звук: an apple, an orange; a banana
- some в положителни изречения, any във въпроси и отрицания
- Количество: a bottle of water, a slice of bread, a bar of chocolate, a glass of milk
