There is/There are, some/any
Тук учим как да кажем, че нещо съществува или се намира някъде: There is (за едно нещо) и There are (за много неща). Във въпроси и отрицания използваме any, а в положителни изречения обикновено some. Тези изрази са много полезни, когато описваме стая, къща или град.
Какво да запомним
- There is + единствено число: There is a lamp on the desk.
- There are + множествено число: There are two windows.
- Въпрос: Is there...? / Are there...? Кратък отговор: Yes, there is. / No, there aren't.
- some в положителни изречения, any във въпроси и отрицания
- Отрицание: There isn't a TV. There aren't any plants.
