Минало просто и продължително време (Past Simple and Continuous)
Сравняваме минало просто и минало продължително време. Past Simple използваме за завършени действия в миналото, а Past Continuous за действие, което е било в ход в определен момент. Често ги съчетаваме: по-дългото действие е в Past Continuous, а краткото, което го прекъсва, в Past Simple.
Какво да запомним
- Past Simple: правилни с -ed, неправилни от 2-ра колона: buy → bought, see → saw
- Отрицание и въпрос с did: She didn't come. Where did you go?
- Past Continuous: was/were + -ing: I was watching TV.
- when + кратко действие: I was watching TV when the phone rang.
- while + две едновременни действия: While I was cooking, my brother was cleaning.
