Писане: есе и писмо (Writing tasks)
Урокът учи как да пишем есе и писмо на английски по изискванията на изпита. За официално писмо започваме с Dear Sir or Madam, ако не знаем името, и завършваме с Yours faithfully, а при Dear Mr Smith завършваме с Yours sincerely. В есето ясно изразяваме мнението си в увода и заключението, всеки абзац започва с тематично изречение (topic sentence), а идеите свързваме със свързващи думи. Спазваме официален стил: без съкращения и разговорни изрази.
Какво да запомним
- Dear Sir or Madam ... Yours faithfully; Dear Mr Smith ... Yours sincerely.
- Свързващи думи: however (контраст), therefore (резултат), on the other hand (друга гледна точка).
- Мнението в opinion essay се казва в увода и в заключението.
- Заключението обобщава основните идеи, без нова информация.
- Официален край на имейл: 'I look forward to hearing from you.'
